The Oxford WELDi 331 is a 330 amp single phase powered, British built stick welder. Unique in its design, the Oxford Weldi range provides high amperage welding outputs from a 230V supply.
A high power MMA set which combines fast arc starts with very smooth welding results. Excellent duty cycles ensure this unit can keep you welding all day without stopping. British built from solid reliable parts and generator friendly, with built in protection from over and under voltage. The generator protection within the WELDi 331 also safeguards against over temperature and over currents.
This inverter’s tough and rugged design has been subjected to numerous drop tests which significantly exceed BS standard requirements. The in built cooling chamber ensures the electronic parts are kept clear of grinding dust or dirty airflow.
In built voltage compensation allows the Weldi to run from extension cables up to 100 metres in length as well as from poor quality input power supplys. The high efficiency design of the Oxford WELDi 331 and 12-16w standby power significantly helps in reducing running costs, plus benefiting the environment.

* Note the input fuse size on single phase models is a result of Oxfords calculations & tests, it is possible to use any of these models on a lower fuse size at lower welding power. It is recommended always using a ‘D’ type circuit breaker to avoid intermittant tripping & in some instances you may experience intermittant tripping if using close to maximum settings. *The min KVA rating quoted is for up to 3/4 power output, to achieve max output we suggest increase KVA by 40%.
All ratings above are based on TIG welding, when using on MMA or MIG duty cycles reduce by 15% & input power increases a little.
